Every student at St. Katherine of Siena attends physical education class for one period per week. Through these classes, we aim to make our students active and help them learn why it is important to remain so. Physical education incorporates basic exercises like running and stretching, as well as competitive sports and fun activities such as relay races and obstacle courses. Through this variety of activities, our students learn how to stay in shape and exercise while being exposed to concepts such as teamwork and healthy competition. Our gymnasium in McBride Hall offers ample space for sports such as soccer, basketball, volleyball and much, much more. Not only does physical education class serve as a platform for teaching our students how to be healthy, but it is an active course in doing so!
I will be available for conferences Tuesday (November 22) from 12:30 - 3:00 PM in the Parish Center. If you are unable to make it at that time, please contact me via email to set up a day and time that is good for you.
